ABA Therapy Chicago, IL

What is Applied Behavior Analysis
(ABA) therapy?

Research has shown that consistent clinic-based ABA Therapy is helpful with setting learners up for success in school and community settings while also being translatable to the home environment. Earlier intervention can help promote independence and reduce the symptoms of Autism and potential need for further assistance in the future.

ABA Therapy is based on the science of learning and behavior and is frequently used to support individuals with Autism. This approach uses the reinforcement of behavior to help children acquire or improve skills such as socialization, communication, and independence.

Our Methodology

We provide clinic-based ABA Therapy in individual sessions with experienced RBTs and BCBAs held at our Chicago center, which provides consistent learning tailored to each child’s current goals. In small groups, we focus on teaching activities useful in a variety of social situations, helping our clients prepare for school, playdates, and other events. We are conveniently located in Lincoln Park. Our center follows an assent-based approach, meaning that children will never be forced to work at a table for extended periods of time and will always be given the opportunity to advocate for themselves, verbally or non-verbally.

All our sessions are structured using a playful approach. We utilize toys and activities selected and preferred by the child. The clinic is set up to emphasize a positive experience, offering private rooms, open spaces for learning, and a large open gym. We incorporate technology to help kiddos continue to learn outside of their therapy sessions, using the same playful and fun apps at school and at home.
